No, Nanobay does not provide a shipping service.

If the shipping company returned the package to you, the vendor should:

  • Contact the buyer and explain what happened.
  • Reach agreement with the buyer regarding who should pay to ship the item again, or cancel the transaction.

If the item has been sent by the vendor, but you have not received it, the following problems may have occurred:

  • The package exceeded the weight or dimensions limitations of the delivering company.
  • The delivery address provided was invalid.
  • One or more items in the package were restricted for export/import.
  • The package was damaged due to transport failure.

In these situations, the package may need to be returned or destroyed (in the case of hazardous or prohibited items). Please contact the delivering company and/or the vendor about their return policies.

Dangerous goods are materials or items with hazardous properties which, if not properly controlled, present a potential hazard to human health and safety, infrastructure and/ or their means of transport.

When you are logged on to, click on Conferences and a submenu will open, where you can select sort events by date. The conferences, courses and expos will be displayed in a chronological list. The Events calendar can be displayed in different formats; by year, by month, by week or daily.

You can also display the events by categories and or location by selecting a category and/or country and clicking the ok button.

The Nanobay network is a place where you can find current and essential information to assist you in trading. It includes a comprehensive member discussion forum with active member participation. It is a constantly-updating channel where you can learn, teach and communicate with and with other members of our community. Nanobay members can exchange ideas and discuss trade-related issues.

The Network section includes your network profile, contacts, groups, photos, videos, network events, messages and an overview of your personal forum information

The network profile is a representation of you in the nanotechnology community. You can use it to connect with your contacts and also to form new connections.

Using the Nanobay network you can share photos, videos, your thoughts and what you are up to. You can also use the platform to create or become part of a group. Using the network you can actively participate in forum discussions. For members who are also vendors, the network gives you the opportunity to explain or advertise your products directly.

To edit your network profile:

  1. Log in on
  2. Place your cursor on My Account located on the main menu and a dropdown menu will open with Edit Profile. Click on it.
  3. Here you can make the necessary changes and click Update at the end of the page.

To upload your network profile picture:

  1. Click directly on your profile picture space and upload the desired picture from your computer.
  2. Make size adjustments and save it by clicking Save Thumbnail.
  3. In order to choose from pictures previously uploaded, click on the option photos on the menu bar and choose the desired photo.
  4. At the right bottom of the picture, click on Options and select set as profile picture.

To upload or change your profile cover picture do the following:

  1. Click on the gear wheel symbol located at the right top of the cover picture.
  2. After clicking select the option modify cover.
  3. Click on the option upload picture then select the desired picture and click on upload photo. If you wish to select from existing pictures, click on the button Photos/Album. Then choose the desired picture and the cover picture will be directly updated.

On the Nanobay network profile it is only possible to upload a link to video/s that are uploaded elsewhere, like YouTube.

  1. To upload an embedded video link, place your cursor above the menu bar option Video.
  2. A drop down menu will appear; now click on My Videos.
  3. Following this click on the blue button Add Video.
  4. Then fill in the video URL, choose from the categories and select who can view it. Once this is done click on Link video.

At Nanobay we consider your privacy of the highest priority. That is why we give you full control over your content. By clicking on Privacy under Profile on the menu bar, you are able to choose who is allowed to see your content.

A number of options are available for you to personalise your network profile. To select these you can click on the option customize my page in the drop down menu under Profile on the menu bar. Here you can choose from various applications that can be added to your profile for personalization.

You can add contacts to your network profile in two ways:

A. Sending a contact request.
You can add contacts by clicking on invite contacts in the drop down menu under Contacts in the menu bar of your network profile. Then you can enter the email address of the contact you want to add, it is optional for you to include an accompanying message. Then click on send invitation.
In the same drop down menu as above you can also choose Search contacts. Then you fill in the name of the person you want to add to your contacts list and click on search. Once the right person is found click on Add as contact.

B. Accepting a contact request.
As soon as someone sends you a contact request you will be able to see this on your menu bar. By clicking on the symbol with two people you can accept or decline the request.
