Passive Valve

A Passive Valve design allows fluids, air or gas to pass from one chamber to another, but it does not allow the flow to return. Some examples of passive valves include hydrophobic and hydrophilic valves, flap valves, siphon valves, and gating valves.

Said valves are used in microfluidic, robotic, and mechanical engineering applications.
